All I see is Conjure Phantasm, and some type of evade, spammed over and over, or blind and imagined burden, etc.. It's getting kinda boring. I hope Nightfall is more diverse, otherwise it's gonna be just as boring.

When you say Npc's are you reffering primarily to the enemies or the hench?

A Gamespot preview said that Nightfall will feature bosses which can change profession.
That'll suffice.

...Great.Bosses changing proffesions...that'll be real fun running out to the middle of RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing nowhere only to find that your boss isnt the profession you wanted.
And all the Mobs need is use of all 8 slots on their skill bar.

Alas, the Henches are perfectly spam-happy.
Alesia - Orison
Lina - Reversal of Fortune
Jamei/Sister Tai - Blessed Light/Jamei's Gaze
Mhenlo - orison/WoH
Danika - Blessed Light
Kai Ying - ward vs melee + stone daggers
warriors - attacks
rangers - attacks (dual/power shot)
necros - blood rit (even on warriors...)
Mesmers- distortion/empathy
That's because they are usually equipped with high recharges except for one or two skills.
Irony is that players copy henches (read Barragers that use nothing else = Aurora clone).

Aurora uses favorable winds. And even if she didn't, I'd still take her over any mage hench using firestorm, or the archers with practiced stance as their elite.

Kinda like clearing a whole zone in prophecies to find where that boss you need spawned, only to find out that he actually didn't. Nothing new.
Mobs that use a full 8 skills would definatly be interesting, I'd really like to see how that would work.

If you want to fight intelligent enemies, go play PvP. Most PvE really isn't very build-intensive on either side of the fight.

So will they have to warp around from town to town like the rest of us or will there be a guild hall update for them >_>?

Don't underestimate the henches. Try this: Go to Thunderhead keep and join the first pug you can. Play it through, I imagine you'll have about a 40% chance of finishing. Then, restart with an all hench team using all of them excluding one that matches your profession. Trust me, you'll be amazed.

I don't know of any henches that use IWAY or VIM. And if you mean the opponents at Zaishen Challenge/Elite, those came afterwards.

think he/she was talking about non-hench npc's. kind of a long-shot though, white mantle don't really use pets and there's no iway with the grawls (right?) that use vim. there are reasonable bulids in the pve world though like the little desert bugs that use chilblains and plague touch together. kinda weak though. it really would be interesting to have npc's that had a littl emore thought put into their builds. i'd like to see anet rip builds off from guildwiki for npc's and critters but oh well.
